So today I got a wild hair and started looking at houses -- again. I have this urge to always look and see what's going on in the real estate market. Part of it is dreaming of having my own house but another part really is to keep tabs of what is happening with the economy.
I found a house in a great, mature, and convenient location. It is exactly what I need. I hate waiting.
For other news, I had my annual performance review yesterday during our normal 1-on-1 meeting and didn't even realize that it was my review until somebody talked to me about theirs today. I suppose that is a good thing. I wasn't all nervous or bent out of shape and I came up with some really good answers (truthful, too!) to some very heavy, loaded questions. At least he admitted they were loaded. It took the edge off.
I must have my mind on too much though as I'm still boggled as to how I didn't even realize that our conversation was my review. Ha!
Off to pick up my "kid" at "grandma's"... (for those of you who don't know, I have a dog who is pratically my baby and she sometimes enjoys her day with my mom and her dog - cute, huh?) ;)

First blog entry on blogger.com
So I actually already have a blog on livejournal.com but I rarely use it. In fact, I wouldn't get too attached to reading my blogs on here either as I'm probably not going to keep up with it. I do enjoy the format more here at blogger.com, but I don't know who is reading this either.
I will continue to read up on finances and investing, learning all the tricks I can to make my dollar stretch. I find that the more I accumulate, the more important it is to do this.
I enjoy reading about all the companies in the news and researching certain ones I take interest in. As much as I would like to, I just cannot keep up with reading all my BusinessWeek magazines that stack up in the corner of the bedroom. I do read all that I can, though, and would love to discuss with others the importance of keeping up with the industry.
Cheers!
